摘要
本文主要对《外语研究》2004年第4期上刊载的吴恩锋《再论"心"的隐喻——兼与齐振海先生的商榷》一文所选取的论据是否得当提出了质疑。笔者针对吴文的疏漏之处进行了仔细的论证,用真实、可靠的语料揭示了"心"隐喻在英汉两种语言中的差异,并指出吴文提出的"心"的零维空间假设有待进一步证实。
This paper raises doubts on the validity of the arguments Wu Enfeng made in his article Reanalyzing the Metaphors of Xin--Discussing with Qi Zhenhai （2004）. It reveals the differences of xin and heart metaphors by drawing on real and reliable language data. It also argues that the hypothesis needs to be further substantiated of the zero-dimensional spatial metaphorization of xin and heart in Chinese and English.
