为应对中国高速发展的航空市场需求及迎接2008年奥运会,构建东北亚最大的综合型枢纽机场,北京启动了新航站楼计划。由著名的福斯特公司主笔创意,北京市建筑设计研究院协同完成的新航站楼设计是同类建筑的经典之作,体现了当今枢纽机场航站楼发展中最先进的设计理念。它强调以人为本和生态节能理念,通过诗意与理性并存的设计手法构筑了一个面向未来的世界级枢纽机场航站楼。
Beijing starts the new terminal plan in order to meet the demand of China ＂ s highly developing aviation market, to get ready for the 2008 Olympics and to construct the biggest integrative pivotal airport in North-east Asia. The architectural design of the new terminal, created by the famous FOSTER Company and collaboratively completed by BIAD, is a classic among its counterparts, and expresses the most advanced design idea in the development of the pivotal airport terminal nowadays. It emphasizes the idea of ＂people oriention＂ and energy conservation, and constructes a world-class pivotal airport terminal for the future by a design method both poetic and rational.
