A Pilot Consideration on Monumental System in Post-disaster Reconstruction Planning——Sensing the 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake

在灾后重建过程中,建议建设覆盖整个灾区的纪念体系,通过对纪念体系规划的意义、目的、原则的认识,倡导纪念性导向的空间规划方法,期望震后重建后的城市能成为积极向上的纪念性城市,彰显城市规划的人文关怀。

We suggest establishing monumental system which should cover whole region of Wenchuang earthquake during the reconstruction. This article analyses the meaning, purpose and principle of monumental system planning, then advocates the monumental-oriented space planning method. Finally, a positive monumental city is expected from the view of humanism.
