摘要
比较了炭涂布的Pt旋转圆盘电极的氧还原反应。研究的多孔炭包括炭黑、炭气凝胶和多壁碳纳米管。实验发现,在炭气凝胶涂布的电极上,氧还原反应的极限电流比其他两种材料大很多,说明氧在炭气凝胶中的扩散速度更快。这很可能是炭气凝胶在燃料电池阴极催化剂载体方面取得优良性能的原因之一。
The oxygen reduction reaction of a Pt rotating disk electrode coated by carbon was tested. The porous carbons including carbon black, carbon aerogel and multiwall carbon nanotube were studied. The carbon aerogel coated electrode achieved much greater limit current than the other two materials, which indicated that carbon diffused faster in carbon aerogel. This was probably the reason for its good performance in the application of cathode catalyst support in fuel cells.
