章太炎“国粹”教育思想辨析

古文经学派大师章太炎基于对近代中国西化风潮的清醒认识和对传统民族文化的自觉,发出了"用国粹激荡种姓,增进爱国的热肠"的呐喊。他反对民族虚无主义,开办国学讲习会所,总结并大力弘扬中国传统文化。在中国教育近代化探索历程中,章太炎发挥了先锋作用,对传统国学的存续做出了特别贡献。

Zhang Taiyan, a great master of old-text Chinese classics, uttered the cry of ＂Stimulate the race and promote patriotism with the national essence＂ based on his clear understanding of the western influences in modern China and his consciousness of traditional national culture. He was opposed to national nihilism and established a center of national learning to summarize and carry forward the traditional Chinese culture. He served as the vanguard in the process of China＇s educational modernization and made outstanding contributions to the continuance of China＇s traditional learning.
