摘要
简要分析了偏振相关色散对光通信系统性能的影响,提出了一种三阶段高阶偏振模色散补偿方案,从理论上分析了它同时补偿偏振相关色散和偏振主态旋转的可能性,并就工作方式、控制算法和补偿理论进行了较为详细的分析与描述.
The impact of polarization-dependent dispersion on the performance of optical fiber communication systems is investigated. A three-stage higher-order polarization mode dispersion (PMD) compensation scheme is advanced. Theoretical analysis shows that it is capable of compensating for polarization-dependent dispersion and polarization rotation rate at the same time. Also the operating points, the control algorithms and the compensation methods in the polarization-mode dispersion compensation (PMDC) are analyzed and described in detail.
