Mental Model and Independent Innovation of Entrepreneurs:A Literature Review

企业的命脉同企业家的心智模式和能力结构息息相关。心智模式是企业家素质的内核,能力结构是企业家素质的外在显现,企业家的心智模式很大程度上决定着能力结构的状况。作为成功企业家共有的心智模式,创新与企业家的气质、动机、情绪、习惯、态度等方面紧密相关,一般具有创新意识的企业家必然具有兴趣的广泛性、洞察的敏锐性、思维的敏捷性、意识的独立性等特点。企业家心智模式是影响企业家创新的一个重要因素,企业家心智模式的趋同会降低集群的创新。总之,企业家心智模式决定着企业家自主创新的意愿、能力和绩效,在企业自主创新中起着至关重要的作用。

The lifeblood of a firm is closely related to mental model and competence structure of entrepreneurs. Mental model is the core of an entrepreneur＇s quality, and competence structure is its external reflection , with the former determining the latter to a large extent. As a common mental model for successful entrepreneurs, innovation is closely linked to their temperament, motivation, mood, habits and attitudes. Generally speaking, entrepreneurs with innovation awareness tend to have extensive interests, acute vision, sharp mind and independent mentality. Mental model is an important factor af- fecting innovation, and converging mental model will decrease innovation in the cluster. To sum up, mental model determines the will, capacity and performance of independent innovation, playing an imperative role.
