社会变迁中的农民工与现代化启蒙

媒介是加速个人和社会现代化的强大工具,农民工从媒介稀少的农村走向媒介繁多的城市,自身面临着由传统人格向现代人格转型的巨大困境。对农民工群体开展以"使用媒介"为重点的媒介素养教育,可以担当对其进行现代化启蒙的重任。在媒介素养教育实践中,可以依靠各大学中存在的学生志愿者组织或社会实践团体开展实验性行动,并通过农民工与乡村社会的天然联系发散影响,带动提高媒介的有效覆盖面和深度普及率,从而加快中国社会的现代化进程。

Media is a strong tool to accelerate the devolopment of indiviolual and social modernization. Migrant workers will greatly influence on Chinese social changes; at the same time, as they migrant from the rural areas, where media is scarce, to the urban area, where they are so greatly exposed to media, they find themselves in a dilemma of tradition and modernization. Once the migrant workers have been media literate, with a focus of media application, they will be able to shoulder the responsibility of modernization enlightening. As migrant workers are closely related with the rural society, they can promote media hteracy in this area and in turn advocate modernization of China.
