Combining the construction practice, the paper gives a general instruction on the super large bridge of Tongyu canal, introduces the construction orders of the steel sheet pile, calculates the sheet pile and supporting system in a concrete way and evaluates the stability against the upheaval of deep excavations in order to ensure the smcoth construction of the foundation steel sheet pile cofferdam of the bridge.
