The citizenship education in China becomes more unprecedented in tendency since the beginning of this new century, which is resulted from the objective requirement of economic and social development and the subjective effort of lifting citizen quality. In order to achieve our goals in the modernization drive as quickly as possible, our country should attach great importance to the citizenship education, sufficiently realize its social significance, take the government＇s responsibilities seriously, compreheasively optimize its necessary conditions, and strive to emphasize its operating focus to promote the scientific developent of citizenship education
