A Bright Pearl of Early Normal Education in China:A Case Study on Hunan First Normal School

我国师范教育是中国近现代教育史上光辉的一页;湖南第一师范是湖南乃至中国师范教育史上的一颗璀璨的明珠。以湖南一师为个案,研究湖南早期师范教育的历史沿革、民主教育及其办学成果,不仅对师范教育有"存史、资治、教化"的重要作用,而且对其他各级各类教育都具有深刻的启示意义。

Normal education was one of the important parts in the history of Chinese contemporary and modern education. Hunan First Normal School was a bright pearl in the history of normal school education in Htman, even in China. It is both of great importance to normal education and of inflective significance to other kinds of education to study the history, democratic education and educational achievements of early normal education in Hunan with Hunan First Normal School as an example.
