Evaluation of uncertainty of measurement on breaking strength of combed cotton yarn was made according to national standard ＂measurement on single yarn breaking strength and elongation at break of textiles and wound yarn＂.Origins which cause uncertainty of measurement were quantified and analyzed and expanded uncertainty was ultimately obtained.
