The technicality, scientific features and normative faculty that possessed by journals determined particular requisition on press-correctors. The essay introduced three regular proofreading approaches; common errors and causing factors in proofreading, and descriptions of effective measurement to decrease proofreading error rate via layout format, normative formula signs, applicable standard proofreading symbols and proofreading time priority given.
