The paper reviews Sichuan tourism in 30 years reform and opening-up in China. It points out that Sichuan tourism has become the top industry in west China, and one pillar industry in Sichuan. The scale and rank of travel agencies and restaurants have been notably upgraded, thus, the demand of intemational travel market could be satisfied. Transportation in Sichuan has also been improved so as to help Sichuan rise up to the first-rate tourist destination. As a grand tourist province with abundant resources, Sichuan tourism will develop and expand in the future.
