This paper tries to discuss the way to construct the model of learner autonomy in the interpretation teaching for English majors in universities, in order to find an effective approach of developing learner＇ s interpretation competence. The interpretation autonomy inspires the interest of learners, and improves the quality of interpretation teaching.
