摘要
现代化的教育就是素质教育,而素质教育的实质就是发展学生的个性,提高学生的综合能力,为社会主义的未来事业造就合格的人才;高校体育是高等教育的一个重要组成部分,其教育的特殊性决定了它对未来人才的培养起着其它学科不可替代的作用。面向21世纪,高校体育必须要重新认识自身的特点和价值,改革现有的弊端,以适应未来人才培养的需要。
Modernized education is quality education, with concerntrates on developping students' personality, improving students' comprehensive abilities and cultivating qualified personnel for our socialist cause. The physical education in colleges is one of the most important parts in higher education and due to its particularity, it has played an indispensable role in the training of future personnel, as can not be replaced by any other subject. To face the 21st century, we must re-recognize the characteristics and value of physical education in colleges, abolish the present mal practice to meet the requirement of future personnel cultivation.
