In the large condensing power plant the water-ring vacuum pump usually used as condenser air exhaust equipment. A method for raising vacuum pump output was introduced, which reduces the temperature of vacuum pump mechanical seal water by using a refrigeration equipment. The conclusion drawn by analysis and comparison is that this method can raise condenser vacuity obviously at summer and the economical efficiency of the generation unit can be raised.
