新生代农民工的群体特性探析——以珠江三角洲为例

On the Group Features of the New Generation of Rural Workers——Taking the Pearl River Delta for Example

新生代农民工被普遍看成一个消极的问题社会群体。但是珠江三角洲9个城市"城市化进程中的农民工问题"问卷调查结果表明,新生代农民工的群体特性是积极的:他们具有较高的人力资本和个人素质;有理想、有目标;注重市场原则;更有平等意识;独立自主意识更强。这也提示人们,对某一社会群体的定位应有科学的态度和方法。

The new generation of rural workers are generally regarded as a negative problem group. However, a questionnaire survey on the issue of rural workers in the process of urbanization conducted in nine cities of the Pearl River Delta shows that the new generation of rural workers are active as a whole. With strong human capital and personal competence, they have strong ambition and clear objectives; they focus on market principles; and they have strong sense of equality and independence. The research finding also tells people that one should hold a scientific attitude and adopt scientific methods when understanding a certain social group.
