清末票号盛极而衰,年存放款及汇兑额逐年降低,究其原因有其自身的弊端、不良的宏观环境、现代金融机构的竞争和金融风潮的影响。

The Exchange shops in the late Qing Dynasty declined from its flourish which reflected that its storage and exchange reduced year by year. By way of analysis, we could see that its own drawbacks, the ill macroeconomic environment, the competitiveness of modern financial institutions and the impact of the financial turmoil resulted in this decline.
