On Ecological Civilization in New Socialist Countryside

党的十六届五中全会提出建设社会主义新农村的奋斗目标,实现这个目标,也就是农村各方面实现协调、全面发展的过程。社会主义新农村在我国现代化进程中的关键性和全面性要求努力建设生态文明。

The target of constructing new socialist countryside was put forward in the Fifth Session of the Sixteenth Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. It is, in fact, a process of coordination and overall development in each respect in the countryside. During the process of China＇s modernization, the importance and comprehensiveness of constructing new socialist countryside request that we should try our best to build the ecological civilization.
