Farewell to Little Lamb is the best short story by Clarin, a well-known Spanish author in the nineteenth century. This novel depicts clearly the social reality, and reflects indirectly a series of existing social problems during the late nineteenth cen- tury by adopting a realistic manner and applying an unfortunate experience of a peasant＇ s family. This paper studies the realis- tic features of the work Farewell to Little Lamb by analyzing the images of the figures in it.
