With the combination of postmodem theories and the analysis of concrete texts, this paper, on the basis of enumerating and analyzing facts data concerned, compares and analyzes related circumstances in American and British societies and probes into, according to the characteristics of American and British presses, the evolvement and development of consuming as well as deconstructing culture in American and British presses influenced by postmodem culture.
