对艾滋病的中医病因名称进行命名,使之统一和规范,这是科研及临床的现实需要。命名的原则应遵循独有性、区别性、准确性等原则,科学地体现出本病病因的特殊性。作者在进行有关文献研究的基础上,结合临床流行病学调查的结果,初步认为艾滋病的中医病因名称命名为"艾毒"或"艾邪"较好,其中以"艾毒"最能体现艾滋病的实质特征。

the article designated the Chinese medicine etiopathogenisis name of AIDS to unification and standard. This was the scientific research and Clinical requirement. The nominal principle should abide by single, distinction and exact and express the particularity of the AIDS etiopathogenisis. The author pointed out the Chinese medicine etiopathogenisis name of AIDS was/M-pathogen or aitoxin which could deeply express the AIDS characteristic on the basis of documents research and combining the results of clinical epidemiological investigation.
