A Preliminary Discussion on Socialist Cultural Construction

建设社会主义先进文化是全面建设小康社会,推进有中国特色社会主义事业,实现民族复兴的客观要求。要以中国特色社会主义理论为指导,坚持以构建社会主义核心价值体系为根本任务,以全面提高国民道德素质为核心内容,以实现文化继承与创新的统一为主要手段建设社会主义先进文化,不断推动社会主义文化的大发展大繁荣。

Construction of advanced socialist culture is the objective requirement to build comprehensively well-off society, to promote socialism with Chinese characteristics, and to realize national rejuvenation. To construct advanced socialist culture, we should take socialist theory with Chinese characteristics as the guide, the construction of socialist core value system as the basic task, the comprehensive improvement of national moral quality as the core content, and realization of cultural heritance and innovation as the major means in order to greatly push forward socialist cultural construction.
