Through the state of the development of our sports and the difficulties of the gymnastics facing at present, the author offers an analysis on the outer conditions and inner requirement of the athletic gymnastics professionalization, and puts forward some feasible steps： cooperate with the mass media and publicize the items of gymnastics, establish gymnastics clubs and schools and cultivate the gymnastic population, promote the Gymnastic professional league matches, improve the relevant environment of the development of professional gymnastics, quicken the construction of the gymnastic training mar- ket. All of these is to provide the theoretical basis for the establishment of the system professional clubs with Chinese characteristics and promote the sustainable development of the sports industry and gymnastics in our country.
