Image retrieval algorithm based on color feature and its implementation

摘要 HSI颜色模型人眼的视觉效果比RGB颜色模型更能反映图像之间主要颜色的差异性,对HSI量化后再取其直方图,可以减少计算量,提高检索效率.全局直方图由于不包含颜色的空间分布信息,不同的图像可能具有相同的颜色直方图.为弥补这些缺点,作者提出一种新的重叠分块,获得每个分块的局部直方图后,再对每个分块赋以不同的权值的检索算法,试验证明该算法能有效的提高检索准确度. HSI color model of the human eye visual can reflect the main color differences better than RGB color model between images, compressing HSI histogram first can reduce computing and improve retrieval efficiency. Global histogram does not include the spatial distribution information, different images may have the same color histogram. In order to solve these problems, the author proposes a new algorithm based on overlapping sub-block splitting which gives each block a weight value after getting its local histogram, experimental results demonstrate that the algrithm can effectively improve the retrieval accuracy.
