民国时期,黄独峰入"春睡画院"拜高剑父为师,其绘画和艺术思想从此形成和发展。黄独峰才华横溢,早年成名,作品蜚声国内画坛。他巡游各地,广交结社,举办画展,创办社团,被誉为"岭南后起之秀"。这离不开他的天才与勤奋,正是凭借着天赋、执着及乃师高剑父的指导和同学朋友们的关心帮助,他才能够在当时人才济济的艺坛独放异彩,成为岭南画派新一代中的佼佼者。

During the Period of Republic of China, Huang Dufeng studied under Gao Jianfu in the Chuishui Painting School. His painting and artistic thoughts were since forming and developed. Huang was very talented and became famous in his youth. His paintings were renown in and out of the circle. He travelled extensively, visited many academiest, held exhibitions and created painting societies.
