摘要
用紫外可见光谱(UV-Vis)研究了萘基及联苯基偶氮型染料大分子的三阶非线性光学用极化率(r).结果表明:对共轭长度(N)不同的染料分子(N等于6~16),r与N关系符合幂律(r∝Na),当N从6增至16时,标度指数a从6趋于宏观值1;这类分子的饱和共轭长度(N.等于14),小于苯撑乙烯分子系列的N.(N,等于24).该工作为表征与筛选发色基分子的r值提供了一种简便而有效的方法.
The third nonlinear optical polarizabilities γ of a series of Naphthyl and Biphenyldiazo-dye molecules have been studied with UV-Vis spetra. The results show that for dyemolecules with different conjugation longth N(N = 6-16), the relation between Y and N fitspower law (γ∝Na), the scaling index a decreases from 6 to the macroview value 1 as N increases from 6 to 16. The saturation conjugation length N, of these molecules is 14, less thanthe one of p- phenylene vinylene series. This work can be used to design and choose the γvalue of chromogens as a convenient and effecient method.
