Two New Helicopters Developed and Built Indigenously by Japan

最近两年中,日本三菱重工业公司(MHI)和川崎重工业公司(KHI)自行研制的两种军、民用直升机OH-1和MH2000相继问世,并成功地进行了首飞.MHI研制的民用型MH2000还于今年初取得了日本民航局颁发的适航证.

Last two years, two new military and civil helicopters, which were developed indigenously by Japanese MHI and KHI, had rolled out and carried out their first flight. One of them is civil MH2000 and another is the OH-1 military observation helicopter. This means that Japan has got enough experiences of developing, producing and marketing helicopter through building helicopters under licence, producing helicopter' s parts as a sub-contractor and assembling helicopters for Sikorsky. In the next century, Japan would become a major player in the global helicopter market.
