Analysis of the use of oral hypoglycemic drugs in our hospital from 2004 to 2006

目的：评估我院住院患者口服降糖药的应用情况，为临床合理用药提供参考。方法：采用限定日剂量（DDD）分析方法，对我院2004年-2006年住院患者口服降糖药的用药频度、销售金额等数据进行统计、分析。结果：口服降糖药的品种、数量及销售金额逐年增长。用药频度（DDDs）和销售金额排序前3位的药品均为阿卡波糖、二甲双胍、格列喹酮；销售金额序号与DDDs序号的比值在0．5～2．25。结论：我院住院患者口服降糖药的使用基本合理，质优价廉的降糖药在临床应用中占优势。

Objective： To analyze the use of oral hypoglycemic drugs in our hospital and to provide a reference for rational use of drugs in clinic. Methods： We analyzed the use of oral hypoglycemic drugs based on DDDs and sales volume in our hospital from 2004 to 2006. Results ： The varieties, quantities and sales volume of oral hypoglycemic drugs used in our hospital have increased year by year. The top 3 hypoglycemic drugs in terms of both sales volume and DDDs were acarbose, dimethylbigmide and gliquidone. The ratio of sales volumes against DDDs was between 0.5 - 2.25. Conclusion： The use of oral hypoglycemic agents in our hospital is basically rational, and the majority of hypoglycemic agents used in our hosoital are both cheap and effective.
