＂All Things are numbers＂ is an important concept of the ancient Greek philosopher Pythagoras, which is used by him to explain, sustain and control everything. Modem digital technology can also create everything and regulate orders in a virtual world, just like a God. This paper discovers a connection between these two concepts and tries to use their similarities to assist the interpretation of the philosophical origin of modem digital technology.
