The nearfield radar cross section (RCS) measurements is a promising technique, and the problem of lackstrip is discussed. Its effects on the farzone RCS pattern are calculated. What the elements are in loack of is replenished with interpolated filling. The simulated results indicate that the lockstrip problem can be well overcome by interpolated filling.
