摘要 把课堂语言教学三要素——投入(Engage)、学习(Study)、运用(Activate)理论及其模式引入高职外语教学中,并将传统的以教师课堂讲授为主要活动的模式,转变为在教师指导下的以学生为主体的教学模式,增加课堂的趣味性和互动性,有利于学生语言交际水平的提高。 This paper intends to introduce a three-stage teaching model, the ESA model: engage, study, activate, into the foreign language teaching in vocational colleges. The ESAhelps tochange the teacher-oriented classroom into the student-oriented classroom under the guidance of teachers and helps to arouse the students' interest,to increace their involvement in classroom teaching and eventually to help them to raise the level of verbal communication.
