Teaching experience of Formulas of Traditional Chinese Medicine

方剂学是中医基础与临床之间的桥梁课,是中医药各专业的基础课程之一。方剂学教学的主要目的就是培养学生分析和运用方剂的能力,为中医临床各科的学习以及今后的临床工作奠定基础。但该课程内容编排形式多有雷同,每首方的学习内容均为组成、用法、功效、主治、方解、运用等,需要记忆的内容又很多,学生学习起来容易产生厌倦情绪。根据教学中的体会,尝试从以下几个方面提高同学们的学习兴趣、取得较好的教学效果。

Formulas of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the bridge between the basic Traditional Chinese Medicine and clinical TCM, and is one of the basic courses in every field of TCM. The main purpose of this course is to cultivate the abilities of the students to analyze and utilize prescription, and to establish the foundation of clinical research work for TCM. Nevertheless, the curriculum content arrangements of this course are largely the same. The study of every prescription mainly includes its composition, usage, effect, treatment, application etc, and students always become tired of this course, because lots of content need to be remembered. Based on the teaching experience, the improvement of students＇ interests in study and better results can be achieved as followed.
