The article provides also an general introduction of the physical and chemical properties of the HSHMPE fiber, its process technologies, survey of domestic and foreign productions, applications, market prospect, etc., It is proposed that standardization for domestic HSHMPE fiber industry＇s should be made as soon as possible and, constant improvement and optimization of the manufacturing processes are necessary.
