摘要
核磷蛋白(nucleophosmin,NPM)是一个具有多种功能的重要蛋白,定位于核仁,可在胞核与胞浆之间快速穿梭。NPM基因在多种人类肿瘤中过表达,因此被公认为肿瘤标志物和癌基因。后来研究发现NPM也具有抑制肿瘤的功能,它的缺失、突变甚至重排与多种肿瘤的发生密切相关。这表明NPM的作用及其机制非常复杂,可能通过多种机制调控肿瘤的发生。
Nucleophosmin(NPM) is an essential multifunctional protein, which is localized in nucleolus and can shuttle rapidly between the nucleus and cytoplasm. NPM1 is frequently overexpressed in human cancer and regarded as a tumor marker and a proto-oncogene. Recent researches indicated that NPM1 has tumor-suppressor functions and its mutation, rearrangement and deletion are attributed to tumorigenesis. The function of NPM is very complicated and it is involved in oneogenesis through many mechanisms.
