John Dewey published A Common Faith in his late life, in which he systematically demonstrates his philosophy of religion. The present paper intends to asset that Dewey＇s distinction between ＂religion＂ and ＂religious＂, and his criticism on supernaturalism, mysterious experience and religious symbolism have demon-strated his final accomplishment of the overall anti-dualism philosophy based on the traditional religious view on the difference between supernaturalism and naturalism. Finally, this paper explains Dewy＇s common faith and possible approaches to its realization.
