On the Motive of Writing Yuanchi Shi Poetry in Daya and Xiaoya

生活在西周厉幽时代宗法制下的二雅怨刺诗作者,与王室血脉相联,其自身的荣辱祸福与王朝政治兴衰之间有着直接紧密联系,由此决定了怨刺诗抒发忧愤情感所持的立场和动机。二雅怨刺诗斥责昏乱败坏的朝政,其情焦灼,其意精诚,深具孤臣孽子之心。表达对王室命运的深切忧虑和对自身利益的深刻关怀,是二雅怨刺诗最坚实的创作动机。

The poems complaining the bad political and civil conditions （＂ yuanchi shi＂ in Chinese） were written in two kinds of refined forms in The Book of Songs, mainly used in the court rituals （er＇ya： daya and xi- aoya） in the period of the Emperor Li and Emperor You in the Western Zhou Dynasty. With the characteristic of patriarchal clan system, the writers＂ fate had close relation with the rise and fall of the Western Zhou Dynasty, thus resulting in the stand and motives for the feelings of the loyal court officials. The poems in the erda rebuked the chaotic and corrupted politics. In short, the firm motive of the poems in daya and xiaoya express the serious worry about the fate and the loyal family, and the deep concern about their own interest.
