The system efficiency is the main index which weighs the operation effectiveness of the equipment, while the general-purpose extent exerts the influences on the equipment system efficiency. By using the concept and calculating method of equipment system efficiency and general-purpose extent, a quantitative model of the influence of the general-purpose extent on the alternative maintenance equipment system efficiency was established. Simulation result validates the model＇s practicability, which makes the reference for the design and comprehensive support of equipment.
