The Outline of Nanjing's Historic Culture and Its Research Review

近十多年来,围绕着南京的历史文化,举办过多次评选活动;这些评选活动,显示了媒体、学会、市民、专家、政府重视、保持甚至打造"特色南京"的意识与追求,促进了南京历史文化研究全面、系统、立体与经世致用地展开。而历史文献的整理、通俗读物与学术著作的出版、考古文物研究的推进,以及全社会对历史传统与地域文化的重视,既是南京历史文化研究与普及方面的重要成果;以这些成果为基础,汇编《南京古旧地图集》乃至编绘《南京历史地图集》,也越来越具有了现实的可能性。

A number of voting contest about Nanjing＇s history and culture have been held in the past 10 years, which shows that the media, society, experts, the public and the government have attached importance to maintaining and building ＂Nanjing with Characteristics＂, promoting the comprehensive, systematic, three-dimensional and practical research of the history and culture of Nanjing. The collecting of historical documents, the publishing of popular books and academic works, the progress in the study of archaeological artifacts, and the priority given to historical tradition and geographical culture by the whole society are the results of the research and popularization. On the basis of these results, the compilation of the Atlas of Old Nanjing and Atlas of the History of Nanjing is be-coming increasingly possible.
