对地理信息系统专业课程设置的探讨

随着地理信息系统(GIS)技术不断地发展和更新,为了适应GIS专业毕业生对知识的掌握与社会对GIS人才的需求,必须对GIS专业课程体系进行设置。文章针对我国GIS专业的特点、发展的状况和趋势,探讨了南京晓庄学院GIS专业的目标定位和专业特色,规划了GIS本科专业的课程体系,探索了适合本专业人才培养的课程体系。提出地理信息系统专业课程设置可以分为六大类,在提出并构建这一体系结构的同时,着重强化数学与计算机类课程的地位。

The development of geographic information system technology both at home and abroad shows a wide prospect in its application. And the GIS education in our country is also increasingly making progress. This article attempts to make a rough discussion on the setting and practice of GIS course system. After a detailed analysis of the current situation, tendency and the specialized characteristic of GIS in China, the paper discusses the target location and major characteristic of GIS in Nanjing Xiaozhuang University. On this basis, the authors put forwards scheme of course system structure of undergraduates on GIS specialty.
