ZF recently developed and launched its new generation of integral hydrodynamic-retarder — ZF Intarder. The new product’s brake torque reaches 400 and 3,300 Nm with less than 65 kg in weight, and its ef-ficiency is 25% higher than that of the old product. It is reported that the 500,000 ZF Intarders had been sold out.
