摘要 建设创新文化,就是要使整个社会文化能够为新知识的持续创造与创造性使用提供全方位的文化支撑,促使尊重创新、鼓励创新的文化氛围和相应的文化制度在整个社会范围内得以形成。与之相应的创新就是指新知识的持续创造与创造性使用。接下来,本文论述了创新文化与科学文化的关系,认为科学文化的成熟、发展是文化进入创新型态的重要前提与标志。最后,文章比较了中、西方学术传统的差异,论述了中国科学文化的形成和发展,提出建设性的建议。 This paper makes a demarcation between the two cultural patterns - the innovative and the non- innovative - by which a culture exists and develops. Innovative cultures, according to this demarcation, intitutionalizationally encourage and protect innovative activities and make use of the products stemmed from these activities, while non - innovative ones do not. Accordingly, the paper defines "innovation", from the perspective of cultural studies, as "creating continuously and making creatively and widely use of knowledge". Thus our construction of innovative culture is to make our culture innovative, or, to change our culture from its non -creative form into creative one, by providing intitutionalizationally all the socio - cultural supports needed in the processes of creating and making use of knowledge. Then, the paper gives an historical analysis on the relation between innovative culture and scientific culture, to show that the maturation of culture of science is an important premise and an indicating sign of the formation of innovative culture. In the last part, the paper discerns differences between Chinese academic tradition and Western academic tradition, analyses the origins of Chinese culture of science, and gives some constructive policy suggestions.
