On Lu Xun's Translation Strategies from the Perspective of His Views on Language

从鲁迅语言观角度重新审视鲁迅的翻译策略,我们发现随着鲁迅从早期所持的工具论语言观向后来的语言世界观的转变,其翻译策略也随之从以读者为中心的维持古代语言系统的意译、改译向原著为中心的改造古代语言系统的直译、硬译变化。

The article presents a fresh investigation and analysis of Lu Xun＇ translation strategies in different periods from the perspective of his views on language, and then it is manifested that Lu Xun viewed language as a tool to communicate in his early period of translation career, but later he converted this view into a view of taking language as a world outlook. This change indicated that, his translation strategies had changed from adapting something in the original for his readers to literal translation for remolding Chinese language system and reconstructing Chinese culture.
