Teaching practice is an excellent opportunity for the students from normal universities to understand real teaching, and it is also the students＇ starting point of the awareness of being a teacher later. The establishment of teaching practice system of music education in local institutions of higher learning should be closely connected to the characteristics of music education in local institutions of higher learning and we should be sure of the placement of the major and the developing goal. The would- be teachers＇ competence and quality are to be improved through teaching practice.
