This paper introduces the general ideas of motion picture resolution and luminescence principle of CRT, LCD, PDP, giving the method of motion picture resolution measurement. From the luminescence principle of CRT , LCD , PDP and the measurement data, the paper analyzes the influences of motion picture resolution of three kinds of display by moving picture.
