摘要
唐宋时期,澧水流域活动着向姓、覃姓土著"酋长"。元明清时期,朝廷在澧水流域设置几个土司机构,统治各族百姓。
The native ＂Chieftain＂ with the clan names of Xiang and Qin were living in Lishui valley during Tang and Song dynasties. In order to govern people of different nationalities, the imperial governement set up some Tusi chieftain institutions during Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties.
