Application of China Traditional Visual Modeling Elements in Modern Design

主要探讨了中国传统文化中的图案、汉字、书法、印章、色彩等视觉造型元素在现代设计中的应用。阐述了中国传统文化艺术元素题材广泛、内涵丰富,其对空间、色彩、造型的运用及虚实关系与阴阳关系等方面具有独特的审美特性和文化价值。对传统文化的某个局部进行提炼和概括,可以构造出更为独立、丰富多彩的视觉符号并应用在现代设计中,可形成独特的、民族化的设计艺术。

The application of visual modeling elements in modern design was discussed, which were pattern Chinese characters, calligraphy, seal, and color. It was put forward that China traditional culture art element theme is widespread and the connotation is rich; China traditional culture art element has the u- nique esthetic characteristic and the cultural value for modern design. It was suggested to refine and summarized traditional culture in certain local area, to construct more independent, rich, and varied visual symbols for modern design.
