新加坡中小学华文教育改革——对我国高校英语教学改革工程的思考

摘要 自九十年代以来,针对中国经济的迅速发展及其崛起对世界经济发展格局的重要影响以及国内华文整体教学效率不尽人意这一现状,新加坡政府开展了一系列的华文教育改革活动,通过重新编写华文教材、设置"量体裁衣"式的课程、改变传统华文考试模式等措施,旨在改进华文教育体制、提高华文教学效率、激发学生华文学习兴趣,对现阶段我国高校开展的英语教学改革具有重要的借鉴和启示意义。 Ever since 1990, in response to the discouraging situations of Mandarin teaching in the country as well as challenges from China with the impact of its rapid economic progress on the global economy, Singapore's Ministry of Education has lannched a series of education reform movements in an attempt to alter the conventional exam-oriented education system, enhance Mandarin-teaching efficiency and activate students' interest in learning Mandarin. The measures cover a wide range of the most important issues on textbooks, learning sources, testing modes, curriculum design and teachers' training programs, from which insights and implications can be derived to serve as a guide for those seeking to improve the overall teaching quality in the reformation project of college English education system in China.
