Academic Management of Teaching in American Universities and Its Revelation to Our Universities

教学管理是美国大学学术管理的主要内容之一。在教学管理中,无论是在学校层面,还是在院系层面,美国大学均建立起了学术管理与行政管理相互协作、以学术管理为主的管理体制。我国大学应重点从健全、整合学术管理机构,强化学术管理;合理分配校、院、系管理权限,管理重心下移;优化学术管理组织结构,完善学术管理规章制度等方面加强教学学术管理。

Management of teaching is one of the main contents of academic management in American universities. A management system, which involves the cooperation between academic management and administrative management and giving priority to academic management, is constructed in the teaching management of American universi- ties. We should perfect and integrate academic management organization to strengthen academic management, rationally assign management rights of university, college and department so as to bring management to lower levels, optimize structure of academic manageraent organizations and perfect rules and regulations of academic management.
